The 2 Day Inca Trail with Camping is a fantastic option for those who do not have much time to do the 4 or 5 day or who do not have the physical condition to support a walk of several days in the mountains. This option is also very good for families with young children who wish to experience a hike along the Inca trail. Along the route there are beautiful views of mountains and valleys and Machu Picchu is also entered through the same place as the 4 or 5 day walkers with the advantage of visiting Machu Picchu 2 times in addition to experiencing an outdoor camp in the canyon of Machu Picchu.

Day 01: Cusco – Km 104 – Inti Punku – Machu Picchu

We will pass by your hotel at averaging 04:15 am, and we will travel for 1 hour and 40 minutes to the train station of Ollantaytambo, then we will travel by train for 1 hour until we reach KM 104 where we will get off our train to start our walk Once we pass the control, our chef will be waiting for us with his porters who will have our breakfast ready. After breakfast we will begin our walk and just 5 minutes away is our first stop called Chachabamba, a beautiful archaeological center with water fountains and ceremonial places, our guide will give us the introduction to the road and tell us the history and use of this place. From this place our road will be a gradual ascent with stops along the way to enjoy beautiful panoramic views, We will arrive at a beautiful waterfall where we can enjoy our snack, then we will continue our walk to visit a beautiful archaeological site called Huiñay Huayna, this It is one of the most beautiful places that if you visit even on the longest routes of the Inca Trail. After that we will continue our walk to enjoy our delicious lunch prepared by the chef. After finishing with our lunch we will continue for 1 more hour until we reach the Puerta del Sol or Inti Punku, from this point we will have the first view to Machu Picchu, we will take some time to rest and enjoy this beautiful view, then we will continue our walk 50 minutes to reach this magical sacred city of the Incas. The advantage of making this walk is that we will arrive in Machu Picchu in the afternoon so there will be no people visiting the place, we will be almost the only ones and we can take beautiful photographs of the place without people. Once finished with our photos we must leave Machu Picchu and take our bus down to the valley and we will arrive at our camp where our hiking team will wait for us with everything ready. After dinner we will say goodbye to them since the next morning we will leave very early, Tips will always be well appreciated by them, however, this is voluntary and according to their level of satisfaction.
